I’m originally from Liverpool, UK, and moved to Australia in 2019. With years of fitness industry experience, I’ve managed large gyms and noticed how intimidating they can feel for beginners. That’s why we created Elev8tion Fitness, a private space where anyone can feel confident training.
I’ve played soccer at a high level and my own fitness journey started from being extremely skinny, which is what sparked my passion for building strength and helping others do the same.
I may have muscles and tattoos, but underneath it all, I'm a softy at heart!

- I would eat pizza every day if I could
- I enjoy doing breath work & cold exposure therapy
- I lived in the Kimberley, WA and used to get flown in my own plane to work

Personal Trainer & Qualified Counsellor
Originally from the UK, and after travelling the world, I’ve called Australia home since 2018.
I first started training while struggling with anxiety and depression. At the time, I was really skinny and uncomfortable in my own body. I lacked confidence and hated how I looked and felt. I know how hard it can be to take that first step, especially when you already feel vulnerable walking into a gym.
Training helped me rebuild my confidence, both physically and mentally, and completely changed the way I saw myself. That’s what I want to help others experience too.
I specialise in helping beginners, older adults, and anyone who feels anxious in a gym. Wherever you’re starting from, I’m here to help you feel stronger, inside and out.

- I've travelled to 42 Countries, & I lived in South Africa working in animal rehab for a year
- I love the colour Pink
- I have over 50 house plants!

Hi, I'm Dave! With 14 years of experience as a personal trainer, I've had the pleasure of working with people from all walks of life in New Zealand and Australia.
My passion for fitness started when I was 16 and first joined a gym feeling completely overwhelmed. Most days I’d just walk on the treadmill because I had no idea where to start. Thankfully, a friendly trainer took the time to show me a few basics, which gave me confidence and sparked my interest in training.
That experience is a big part of why I enjoy helping others feel comfortable, capable, and confident in the gym. Whether your goal is strength, mobility, fitness, or overall health, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
When I'm not in the gym, you'll find me diving into my love for history. (Yes, I'm a proud history nerd!)

- I've been to the Vatican twice
- I was born in New Zealand and I've also lived in Sydney for 5 Years (Been in Port Mac since 2020)
- I came 3rd in a Regional Powerlifting comp when I was 23
